Recognition and Regalia

As a PTK member, your academic achievements are recognized and celebrated in a number of ways. Once you join and become a PTK member, you will receive a membership packet that includes the Phi Theta Kappa Golden Key Membership Pin, an official Membership Certificate, and a gold tassel to wear on your mortarboard during your graduation ceremony. In addition, an official Phi Theta Kappa seal will be placed on your diploma*. You will have an opportunity to wear Phi Theta Kappa regalia (gold tassel, gold stole, and honor cords) at your graduation ceremony.* Your official college transcript will also note your membership in PTK*.

You and your family and friends will be invited to your local chapter’s induction ceremony to celebrate your academic achievements. An additional benefit is access to letters of recommendation that cite your membership to help bolster your resume and scholarship and job applications.
