Joining the Omicron Lambda Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Omicron Lambda Chapter, established in 1966, is home to over 9,337 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.
The chapter leaders at the Omicron Lambda Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:
- Bring a Greater Awareness to the Importance of Notetakers on Campus
- Revision to the Student Intake Survey to better understand the incoming students needs

Scholarships
Members of the Omicron Lambda Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarships from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $104,750 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
