Shipping and Other Frequently Asked Questions
I didn’t receive my complimentary tassel.
Your tassel is part of the membership packet which also includes your membership certificate and pin. These packets are shipped separately from store orders. Expect your packet to be delivered 4-7 weeks from the time you joined. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for international delivery.
How can I track my order?
If your order is sent to a physical address, you should receive an email from the PTK Store confirming the shipment, including a link to track the package through USPS or FedEx. If you did not receive an email, contact us or call 601.984.3581 with your invoice number for assistance.
How will my package be delivered?
Packages shipped to physical addresses will be delivered by FedEx or USPS, and those shipped to P.O. Boxes will be delivered by USPS. Delivery takes approximately 5-7 business days, unless expedited delivery is added. Expedited service is unavailable for P.O. Box and international deliveries.
What should I do if I notice a delay related to my package?
Email us or call 601.984.3581 with the updated information and we will forward the correct information to USPS or FedEx so that your order isn’t further delayed. You may also contact FedEx directly with your updated information and tracking number at 1-800-GoFedEx.
USPS or FedEx indicates delivery of my package, but I can't locate it.
Check all doors and the perimeter of your home, apartment, or business. If you live in a duplex or apartment, please check with the manager's office or your immediate neighbor. If you are still unable to locate your delivered package, please contact us or call 601.984.3581 to begin a delivery investigation.
What should I do if I received a damaged package?
Email us or call 601.984.3581 immediately to start the claims process. Please keep all packaging and contents as proof of damage for the claim. If items are determined to be damaged, the PTK Store will replace damaged items and submit a reimbursement to USPS or FedEx.
How can I cancel or change my order?
Act quickly by contacting the PTK Store Customer Service at 601.984.3581. Products are often shipped the same day that they are ordered, so we cannot guarantee changes to or cancelation of order. For your convenience, a return label is included in your package. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
How much are shipping charges?
Shipping charges vary. Charges are displayed in your shopping cart at the time of your order and in your order confirmation email. All orders shipped to Canada may incur taxes imposed by the Canadian Government at the time of delivery.
I am not sure what sizes to order. What are your sizing tables?
Small: 34-36"
Medium: 38-40"
Large: 42-44"
X-Large: 46-48"
2X-Large: 50-52"
3X-Large: 54-56"
(All shirts are uni-sex with the exception of women-specified shirt styles. This is considered a general rule, but all brands vary.)
Phi Theta Kappa Regalia / Graduation
Can I wear the PTK graduation regalia during my graduation?
Rules regarding which regalia items may be worn during your graduation ceremony are determined by your local college policy. Consider checking with your college to verify your college’s graduation policy before purchasing regalia items, as these items are non-refundable.
Does Phi Theta Kappa rent graduation gowns?
No. Check with your local advisor or college leaders to learn how to make arrangements for graduation gowns.
Problems While Shopping
I am not able to add certain items to my cart.
To purchase "Member Only" merchandise, you must log in as a member using your email address username and password. Your name will appear at the top once you have logged in successfully.
I keep receiving a message to enable cookies.
This will usually happen when using Internet Explorer. To fix this issue, please add our site to your Trusted Sites by completing the following steps:
- Click on the Tools menu at the top of the browser, then click Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab, then click the Trusted Sites
- From there, click the Sites
- Type https://store.ptk.org then click the Add
- Repeat Step 4, entering https://recognitions.ptk.org
- Click Close and finally the OK
Trademark Usage
To protect the integrity of Phi Theta Kappa emblems and safeguard the value of membership, Phi Theta Kappa's Golden Key, seal, and crest emblems cannot be used on saleable items, including sweatshirts, t-shirts and other merchandise sold or distributed by chapters or regions. The name Phi Theta Kappa or Greek Letters representing Phi Theta Kappa or the chapter name can appear on these items with the exception of Academic or Honors Regalia. Chapters may use the Golden Key emblem on chapter stationery, flyers, business cards, etc., which are not offered for sale.
