SLSV Campus Takeover

Help Your Campus Get Vote Ready
Community College students participate in elections at a rate well below their four-year student peers (Williams, 2024). Phi Theta Kappa is partnering with Students Learn Students Vote (SLSV), one of the nation's leading nonpartisan college voter engagement coalitions, to empower our members to help their campuses get #voteready in 2026.

Campus Takeover of the Civic Holidays is a nation-wide effort led by the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition to mobilize students around elections and to create a culture of civic engagement on college campuses during the Civic Holidays, nonpartisan days of action that strengthen and celebrate our country's democracy:
- October 5-9, 2026: National Voter Education Week
- October 20, 2026: Election Hero Day
- October 24, 2026: Vote Early Day
Register your chapter to lead a Campus Takeover this fall and receive all the resources you need to host events that build civic engagement!
