Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) President and CEO Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner has been selected as Co-Chair of the American Association of Community Colleges’ (AACC) Commission on Student Success. Tincher-Ladner also serves as a member of AACC’s Board of Directors.
The Commission on Student Success focuses on student access, success, and organizational transformation. The commission examines various subject areas such as degree completion and two-year to four-year transfer. In addition, it looks at cutting-edge innovation with proven outcomes and ways to improve student success while providing affordable, high-quality technical assistance in areas that support students.

This role provides a unique opportunity to advocate for community college students across the nation and implement strategies that focus on student access and success. I look forward to the opportunity to enhance student success initiatives and create pathways for students to achieve their academic and career goals”, says Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner.
Tincher-Ladner will serve a one-year term co-chairing the commission with Dr. Susan Looney, President from Reading Area Community College (PA). The AACC Board of Directors authorizes a total of nine commissions, each consisting of an average of 24 people from AACC’s member institutions who are CEOs or administrators.
