Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholarship

Purpose: The Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholarship seeks to recognize outstanding Phi Theta Kappa members attending school in Texas.

Award: $1,500

Eligibility:

• Must be enrolled in an associate degree program at a two-year college in Texas.
• Be currently enrolled in 6 or more semester credits of associate degree, college-level coursework.
• By January 31st of application year, have completed at least 12 semester credits but no more than 36.
• Continue enrollment in a two-year associate degree program for the upcoming fall semester.
• PTK member in good standing.
• Have not yet received an associate or bachelor’s degree from any college.
• Academic record free from suspension, probation, or other disciplinary actions.
