Register to attend the 2010 Annual Convention by March 15 to avoid onsite registration fees. Program participation will help you strengthen highly sought-after skills such as communication, critical thinking, teambuilding and goal setting through hands-on leadership activities and online video courseware. Members will build an online portfolio that will showcase their accomplishments in one convenient location that can be easily shared with scholarship providers, admissions officials and potential employers. The 2010-2011 Honors Study Topic - The Democratization of Information: Power, Peril, and Promise - provides a foundation for Honors in Action projects for individuals, chapters and regions. Begin your exploration of the new topic today. Holding International Office is considered the highest pinnacle of student leadership within Phi Theta Kappa. The Hites Transfer Scholarship program is designed to support the outstanding academic achievement of Phi Theta Kappa members. Up to five scholarship of $7,500 will be awarded. Applications were due on March 1, 2010. For those who already have a login and need to complete any missing items, the application will remain available until March 15, after which, no additions will be accepted. Leaders of Promise/GEICO Business Student Scholarship Program is available to members to be used during the time they are enrolled in community college. The program is designed to develop leadership potential through participation in Society programs.
