A proud community college alumna, Dr. Marlowe holds a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership, a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in English, and a bachelor’s degree in library science. As the former executive director of the PTK Foundation, she brings a deep understanding of the organization’s mission and the students it serves. Her extensive experience in fundraising and grant writing—combined with a passion for student success—makes her an invaluable addition to the Board. Her historical knowledge and longstanding dedication to alumni engagement will help expand the Foundation’s donor base and increase its philanthropic reach.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Monica Marlowe to the PTK Foundation Board of Trustees,” said Phi Theta Kappa President and CEO Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner. “Monica’s historical knowledge, connections, and perspective will be invaluable as we continue to grow our support for students. I look forward to working with her again in this important leadership role.”

“It is an honor to join the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees and work alongside dedicated colleagues to further expand opportunities for PTK members,” said Dr. Marlowe. “I am delighted to continue my support of PTK and the Foundation in such an impactful way.”

As a trustee, Dr. Marlowe will help guide the Foundation’s philanthropic vision, support fundraising strategies, and ensure continued opportunities for PTK members to thrive through scholarships and programmatic support.
