A total of 62 Phi Theta Kappa members are among the 73 recipients of the 2013 Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarships, the nation's largest private scholarship program. They received a total of more than $1.8 million for completion of baccalaureate degrees.

Jackson, MS - Twenty two-year college students have been named to the 23rd annual All-USA Community College Academic Team, honored for their outstanding intellectual achievement and leadership.
JACKSON, MS – Phi Theta Kappa has chartered a new chapter at J.F. Drake State Technical College in Alabama. In an April 16 chartering ceremony held on campus, 12 students were inducted as charter members of the Beta Upsilon Xi Chapter.

Jackson, MS – Connie Myers-Kerr, a student and public relations consultant of Grove City, Ohio, was elected to serve on Phi Theta Kappa’s Alumni Advisory Council during the Society’s 2013 Annual Convention in San Jose April 4-6.
Phi Theta Kappa’s 95th Annual Convention in San Jose, California, culminated Saturday, April 6, with the presentation of the 2013 Hallmark Award Winners, including Most Distinguished Chapter to Alpha Zeta Iota from Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell, Alabama.
